Subject: Propane Tank

This matter of refusal to fill older propane tanks of the Vanagon type came up about three weeks ago. You might try the archives. The bottom line seems to be that the "new regulations" do not apply to our tanks. I have printed a copy of the regulations which I carry in my glove compartment as a "just in case" not that some know it all would take the time to read it. I have not had the occasion to have mine refilled yet, but the place which I would use seems to have an intelligent service person who knows how to fill one to begin with.
