I'm doing the same thing right now and found good material at a Joanne Fabrics Store (a local chain here in western Pennsylvania) . Went in looking for thin foam and came out with one eighth of a yard of headliner material which will be enough to cut new foam for all my flaps. Cost was one dollar and eighty five cents. I even had a choice of color -gray or black. The foam backing to the headliner material seems a perfect match in all regards. I will put the cloth side against the metal flap so the raw foam side seals the opening. Don't know exactly what I'll do yet for the two plastic ram flaps--probably use the same foam and spray adhesive.
