If you look in about a foot past the Jack points and a little before or aft you will see some frame that's where I have always put mine works good and if you have good stands it's not going anywhere. Never put them on just sheetmetal. Be Safe, Kevin 87 Westy

Another question for the font of knowledge:

When using jackstands to support a Vanagon, where do y'all place said stands? I thought perhaps under the jack point, but I'm not sure if the bottom half is reinforced enough to hold the whole van. --- Incoming mail is certified Virus Free.
