If you look in about a foot past the Jack points and a little before or aft
you will see some frame that's where I have always put mine works good and
if you have good stands it's not going anywhere. Never put them on just
sheetmetal.

Another question for the font of knowledge:



When using jackstands to support a Vanagon, where do y'all place said
stands?  I thought perhaps under the jack point, but I'm not sure if the
bottom half is reinforced enough to hold the whole van.
