Subject: 90 Vanagon CARAT 2.1 waterbox hesitate and lurching
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

My bus is running erratic and stop signs. I have replaced the plugs, rotor, rotor cap, oil/filter, air filter and this seemed to help for about a week but now the engine will buck or try to lurch forward (Automatic Trans - I find this is kinda puzzling that you feel the lurching?) when fully stopped. Most of the time when starting out it sounds like its running on 3 cylinders. Any opinions? I was thinking plug wires?

Thanks,

/Brett - 90 Carat (I love this bus)
