Thanks Doug. The neg. battery cable was a bit loose. I never tightened it all the way when I hooked it back up. Thought for sure that must be the problem, so I tightened it down, and it didn't change anything. My van ran just fine before I pulled the engine, so I'm pretty sure this has to do with something not plugged in right. Does the 2.1 have 2 coolant temp sensors? I know there is the one on the thermostat housing, but I dont remember ever seeing the other one. Maybe that's not hooked up. I was told that I need a new Idle Control Unit because my idle is unstable and it goes way up when the A/C is on. Havent replaced it yet due to the price. Could the ICU make it run like crap like it's doing now? Don't know, just shooting ideas out there.
