Subject: Propane regulator questions opinions
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I just replaced the old regulator off the propane tank for the westy conversion. The one I picked up at yard birds is mr heater brand and claims 1/2 psi up to 75,000 btu capacity. Plenty for the westy and even the extra line I want to run over to the other side of the van for an outside cook stove.

The guy at Suburban Propane said the double regulators will push the gas further but he said if its under 20ft the single reg will be fine.

The one on the tank is bigger but its also 20yrs older technology.

The new one was 11 bucks.

Any problems with this?

I noticed Go westy sells the dual set up for $29.95 and you have to cut or move your lines back 6 inches to use it. WHY?

So they can sell you a 30 dollar reg instead of a 12 dollar reg?

Thanks,

Doug
