Hi Everyone, I have an 85 Vanagon with an ASI camper conversion. The A/C unit has never worked very well. It will blow air (just not cold air) so I **think** it needs to be recharged. Any experience with this type of A/C? If they tend to work well, I'll keep and fix. BTW - for those who remember, my van had problems while at the shop a couple of weeks ago. Non-stop blinking coolant LED and sluggish acceleration. An update: I printed out past threads on this issue and faxed them to the shop. Guess, what - the blinking LED light was fixed that day. After "hours and hours" of trouble-shooting and two weeks in the shop, it turned out to be corrosion on the contacts. Still a little sluggish, but I wanted it back. Also...now my e-brake light won't turn off. I'll try to fix that one myself... Thanks! |
