Went to get the new (to me) '87 Syncro registered today. Hmm, need a emissions test. Go to the test site - "Hey, we can't test your van - it's leaking gas!". Crap. So I am going to bring it into Totally German Auto tomorrow (they are on east Main in Mesa). I know this is a long shot, but can anyone give me a ride home from there (I live at 16th and Bell in Phoenix) - please pmail if you can help. I am hoping against all that it is the "coupler" between the gas tank and the firewall, and not the vent lines which would require the three step repair procedure: 1) Remove engine 2) Remove transaxle 3) Remove gas tank Reassembly is the reverse of removal...
