If you choose your bulb wattages wisely, and aim your headlights correctly you will not blind the oncoming traffic. By upgrading your vanagons headlights you are only bringing them up to what they should have been in the first place. Only those that install high wattage bulbs without adjusting them accordingly are creating a hazard for other drivers.
