Sam,
Pull the speedometer out of the dash and remove the circuit board from the
back of the speedo. All that stuff was not present on the '85 but will be
on a later speedo. This board contains the oil pressure alarm that is
looking for input it is not getting.
I went through this on my '85. Pretty simple job.
