Hi, I am very conscientious of my effects on others -- that is one reason I am considering the E-codes. I thought the general consensus was that the light pattern was better than DOT lights, with a sharper cutoff, to avoid blinding oncoming drivers. Since I was asking if the 9004's would fit (they don't) you can also conclude that I will probably keep the bulbs at the stock wattage -- I am not in a contest for Megawatt bulbs. About safety -- is it my imagination or are HID bulbs getting worse! Even the VW $lave trader, I mean Touareg, has those obnoxious things! As I always tell those out there that are adding these lights............. It is great that YOUR visibility is improved. But thing about the people coming at you that you are blinding. They are not improving your safety at all.
