TAH- DAH!!!! All sealed up no leaks no gases in the coolant. Started on the 4th crank over. and the lifters quiet after about 1/2 hr at temp. Man, what a pain but still an easier job than when I did the head in my son's 95 cavalier. Two question's, when I adjusted the valves some were by the book (Bentley) and some were real mushy so I just got them all about the same. How long should I wait before readjustment and should I limit driving to shot trips no hi-way? Jim Morgan 86 Gl 210,000.0 "bread box" Westlake,Ohio jm060356@aol.com |
