Hi All,
I guess I should go back & read the post again,
because when I was through reading it,
I was seriously considering one of Boston's engines for myself!
Every new project is going to have a few bugs to work out.
I expect this from anyone's work or, most products.
Especially the ones marked, some assembly required !!! :)
That said, It saddens me to have so much
of this type of thing on the list lately.

It's very rare that I have found the need to defend myself on this list for
anything other than my spelling and grammar BUT with all due respect
Problems with Boston Bobs engine makes it sound like I did not build you a
good engine and that's not a correct representation of the facts in this
matter.
Why don't you tell the list what we found when we took your Boston Bob Big
valve engine apart
after only 8 thousand miles. If you don't I will
sounds like your gas mileage reflects the load what was the vans weight five
thousand pds is my guess
Frank your trying to make me look bad and I took excellent care of you
I'm disappointed in you
I'm very proud of my products and I stand behind them sometimes more than I
should
nobody does it better
no brag just the facts
Bob, my friend, I only stated the facts ! The rest of the story is a whole
'nother story and I was going to keep it off the List but you seem hell bent
to put it out there so go ahead and tell your side of it then I will
certainly tell mine ! The report I made this morning did in no way say
anything
about your engine rebuilding prowess, it only stated the facts of my
experience
on this the trip to Everybus, that's all. You wanna load up your Westy and
do
some real life tripping down the roads of America your more than welcome to
do so and then make your own report ! There were 150 buses at Everybus and
some of them were Vanagons laden to the gills as mine was and we had a lot to
talk about and compare notes. Get outa the shop and go see the reality of
real life experiences of those using the waterboxer engine !
Cheers,
Frank Condelli
