this is correct. the rivet stud can be replaced with a screw stud or a
rivet stud. if using the rivet stud you must have the correct rivet
tool that will pull from the base of the stud or you will crush the
stud of the snap. a standard size screw stud will be much easier to
install and can be purchased at most auto trim shops and or marine boat
top shops. be careful if using the stainless screw stud since it is
softer it can shear at the head and then you will need an oversized
screw stud. standard is a 3/8 inch long screw #8. can also be found in
5/8 inch and 1" oversized is a #10 screw. if you cant find them
anywhere local to you just e-mail me and i can get you taken care of.
try a local shop 1st since it will save time for a small item. good
