I have a in-line set up, my temp gauge (aftermarket) runs around 210 degrees, when running at 80 mph in 85 plus degree weather, its a Westy Camper, the factory gauge runs setting just sitting to...or sometimes just above the red led light, is this too hot, or to be expected? At night(55 degrees) it runs at 195 degrees (aftermarket gauge), and at just below the led light or a needle width below the led light....on other note I have wired a bypass switch for the high speed fan on the radiator...if I bypass it drops the needle my two widths (factory gauge)at a least 20 degrees on the (aftermarket gauge).....This morning I added "Water-wetter" additive to the coolant system for s*@t's and giggles ,and it seems to help, but all in all ,does my system sound "normal" or is it time to look on Ebay for a new radiator? |
