On a recent 1,850 mile round trip, I got between 20 and 22 mpg on the highway (20 at 65 to 72 mph and 22 at 55 to 65 mph). Engine is a 1.8L Jetta Digifant II.

Hi All,

I am thinking about doing one of the conversions when the current engine dies. I have the Kennedy Engineering info and I am looking at the Golf conversion.

The post on the mileage for the 2.1 and 1.9 was ok but what's your gas mileage on the different engine?

TIA

Jere
