The purpose of running your For Sale vans on E bay is to get a higher price. With a larger audience than local news media and the VW for free advertising sites it's just normal to expect to get more money. I've found myself bidding too much for vehicles and items on E bay because I had a current need for them but knowing I was approaching the "Too Much" price range. My real bargain of A/C gauge set turned out to be the cheapest made Chinese tool I've ever seen. The clear lenses broke first, the gauge housing next and then the little knobs to operate the valves have broken. All this after just two uses and a few trips out of the tool box. Seems for ever good deal I get on E bay I get screwed on four so buying a Diesel Vanagon is at least a known commodity. The rule still remains the same when buying anything from an E bay seller; "Buyer Beware".

It'd be more reasonable if it had been a camper.
