This is an opportunity to own a rare all-wheel drive VW Camper for well
under the usual $10,000 +.

1986 VW Westy Syncro for sale. We are selling to buy another VW Westy syncro
that is newer and has A/C. This has been a great camper van for us for over
five years. Van has been registered in Oregon since new. Info:

We have ALL SERVICE RECORDS going back to when vehicle was new...a few
details:
222,000 miles. 27,000 miles on THIRD locally rebuilt engine (2.1L water
cooled)
NEW clutch and transmission
Recent brakes, rear, new brakes, front
Nearly new tires (<5000 mi)
New catalytic converter and exhaust in 2002
Van should pass DEQ in 10/2004 when tags expire
Pop top in good condition; sleeps 4
A few dings on body of van
Interior is so-so (could use new seat upholstery to make it real nice)
AM/FM Cassette and CD changer (Blaupunkt) comes with at full asking price
Gold color

This is the weekender version, meaning, not a full camper (ie. no
appliances. Does have a fold up table, curtains all around, and lots of
storage. Overall, there is lots more interior space than in a full camper
and there is seating for six instead of four.
