In the Ventura area, Emma Woods SP, Farther north Gavilan SB, Farther north still, Lime Kiln Cyn SP, Julia Pfeiffer Burns SP, Andrew Molera SP, Big Basin SP, all good calls. I especially like Lime Kiln. However, any turnout overlooking the Pacific is pretty much fair game after say 1830. En route camping it's called and of course you are just staying until the AM.
