Aren't we really just referring to human nature here? There are givers,
takers, in-betweeners etc etc. I've certainly gleaned a huge amount of
information from Ben's Site. I may have even asked him a dumb question
or two. I think that he's extremely talented in many areas. It would be
terrible if he decided to take down all of his pages. I've had work
performed on my van just because he recommended it on his web site, and
it headed off more than one catastrophe, especially in the cooling line
and fuel injection "areas". Apart from that, I find his trip reports and
photography quite informative and entertaining.
So, if he wants to get upset and/or blow off some steam with all of the
"humans" who dare to invade his space and waste his time...so be it...Go
for it Ben. I can tolerate it from you or anyone else; mainly because I
have too many of my own faults to spend time lashing out at good people.
I've been on this list for about 2 years now (as long as I've had a
Westfalia), and like everyone else, have had to tolerate the insane
postings (how big is the luggage rack?, what's the size of the rear
table leg?, how many ounces in a quart? Blah Blah Blah !! :)
Time to relax and count our blessings guys...we don't have it that bad.
