Whoa - you haven't seen an 80s Jeep then! In fact, many 80's vehicles (at
least in the US) have dubious electrical systems. This topic came up a few
months ago, IIRC, and one explanation was insufficent grounding due to
engineers not understanding the demands of FI completely. Cleaning the
grounds can help alot.


I wonder if that Radioshack IR thermometer is still on sale...
