If you think 80's Jeeps are bad, may you never have the pleasure of working on older British cars. Yikes! What an electrical nightmare.

In fact, many 80's vehicles (at least in the US) have dubious electrical systems. This topic came up a few months ago, IIRC, and one explanation was insufficent grounding due to engineers not understanding the demands of FI completely. Cleaning the grounds can help alot.

I wonder if that Radioshack IR thermometer is still on sale...
