THere are many types of paints today. Your questions can only be answard if you can provide more info. Was this paint part of base coat/clear coat proccess? How old is the paint? Part number and maufacture?

To keep the home mechanic from painting cars these days, most labels have been stripped of all working info. May be a good thing, because paints today are acually chemical reactions....
