This strategy for selling a car works for newspaper ads, where you want the prospective buyer to come and see the vehicle . The idea is to keep the buyer curious enough to come over , which greatly increases the chance of sale.

But on ebay, this is not practical.

I disagree, I think the reason the bidding was strong on the blue magoo was becuase of the detailed description.

On ebay , as a rule, the more or better you can describe something , the better .

When it comes to a item as complicated as a motor vehicle, pictures and details are important.

I think this e-bay seller got whart he deserved for selling a well-described vehicle.

He was honest and thorough. And consider that anything Diesel is worth more now because of high gas prices.

The make and model are not the final determining factors of vehicle value.
