Subject: decoupler: good idea?
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

hey all, i am researching my options on my syncro now that my vc is fried. i am looking at possibly rebuilt vc for $600 or the decoupler route for $1000. anybody have experience with decouplers in syncros. there is a guy out of bend oregon who sells them. BTW he also sells drive shafts that uses chevy ujoints for use in our syncros. he has sold 80 with no probs. he says that when these joints go bad, you just replace the joints at $12 a piece rather then a new drive shaft, and they come balanced. let me know if any has used the decouplers in their syncros! thanks jason
