I did this last year. The swivels are held with welds down both sides. As far as I remember a sawzall will probably have problems with the the blade bottoming out. If you have it, a much better tool would be a right-angle grinder with a cut-off wheel - but sparks galore of course. Also need a 13mm wrench to unbolt the swivel plate. -Hans
