Sheesh... 71,000 miles and my remanufactured (from VW Canada) only leaks from where my mechanic didn't seal up the oil filler tube all the well. Not made to modern tolerances is bulls*#t.

I must concur with Donald.....my original WBX engine,now approaching 260,000kms and 12 years old has never leaked a drop of oil in it's life... (except once when I didn't quite do the oil filter up tight enough, but another half turn and that was sorted )

One happy camper at least...;)
