Subject: trans question
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

i put my vanagon on the rack today at the shop where i work. i was just checking a few things out, like a possible oil leak and some other things. i put it in first gear and ran it with the wheels off the ground. i noticed the right wheel was spinning like crazy and the left wheel just looked like it was trying to spin. when i stopped the right wheel with my foot, the left wheel would spin, but not as fast. i dont know much about transmissions; does the vanagon have the type that just drives one wheel? or could this be a bad cv joint (or bad trans), or is it totally normal?
