Subject:      Gas tank question, puzzle...

I changed the gas tank because I could not get any gas out of the hole where it supposed to come out at to the pump.  Now, I have the other one in and this one too does not leak at all at the hole for the pump.  What is wrong?  Does any of you know it for sure?  And what to do?  I just spent all day changing it.
