Sorry if it looks like I'm beating a dead thread -I agree-some auto sellers withold the truth on ebay- it happened to me, I bought a seam rust special vanagon on ebay. He never mentioned seam rust.

But read the seller's description again- he is describing the flaws as you say it should be- with measurements. nothing hidden here in this excerpt:

"Vehicle Condition

OK, now for a few blemishes. There is the damage on the sliding door that you can probably see in the pictures. Along with that there are four small dents I have noticed. One is directly above the "G" on the rear door, right where the paint changes color. Two more are directly behind the left rear wheel, one right in front of the bumper cover--about 6-8 inches long, the other directly in front of the side marker light--quite small. There is also a dent in front of the passenger door about 4 inches above the turn signal light. "

In my opinion the seller is describing the flaws. The pictures show the flaws. Looks honest to me.

Somebody really wanted this Diesel and the rest of us all wish we had one we could sell on ebay too!

I guess I'm just not comunicating well here. First, He could be lying? Or the seller could be just stupid. Any words used in the text without definate meaning are worthless. For example: When a seller says "small scratch" YOU MAY AS WELL FORGET ANY THING THEY say. Small to you is not the same as small to them. Now if they would say a 1 " scratch, I will continue reading. Most sellers are clueless. As for relisting, My bet is that the buyer shows up and says forget it, because this is not what he was lead to believe. There was a lady here maybe a year ago, that stated "all mechanical things replaced" needless to say I gave her hell, witch she rightfully deserved.
