Bad move, Chris.  Now your suspect knows everything you know.  Don't feel
badly; it's such a natural instinct that I once made the same mistake myself.


For future reference, People, if you get ripped off and you have GOOD reason
(this is no time for fantasies) to suspect someone, keep your mouth shut and
your eyes wide open long enough for the perpetrator to relax.  That is when he
will screw up.  If you talk to anyone, make it only the cops.  The actor might
already be in their field of vision and you will need a report for the
insurance claim.
