Well I'll tell ya, I ain't no VW expert but from what I know about main seals, I would look at all the compression rings. A broken compression ring would give you recurring main seal issues. On the other hand, I asked that all problems this week be dealt with between the vendor and the indivdual, as this list has gotten ugly. The desire to bitch is too strong though,so there it is.
