System administrators who allow their systems to respond to viruses with
those auto-generated messages are part of the problem, not part of the
solution.  They amplify the effect of the virus by needlessly multiplying
the email traffic it generates.  The cynic in me suspects that anti-virus
software companies encourage this sort of thing because the bounce
messages are effectively free advertising.
