Subject: Cabinet Molding restoration

It's time to do something about my cabinet molding before it shrinks another inch. the archives mention boiling the molding and stretching it which I already knew, however, Is the molding reapplied with any specific adhesive or did Westfalia just insert the molding into the grooves? Anybody that has had success with this I would love to hear from. Side note: those of you with molding around the frig might want to take a look at it. Shrinking molding around the door will cause gaps to form around the door affecting the cooling of the frig ( the delicate appliance that it is).
