IMHO it's less hassle to get a Weekender bench than to use conversion hinges like Z-bed. Besides, the regular bench like yours does not have the flatter surface as the Weekender benches. It'd be a pain to sleep on those bumps.

Take care not to use the bench from a Westy Weekender or Multivan unless you intend on transplanting the plastic side panels and bench mount extensions.

You may want to consider putting on the matching middle bench from the Weekender package as the seat backs of those folds forward to facilitate ease of use of the bed.
