Subject: Need info on gas tank...
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I got a few answers back about the gas tank questions, but they did not answer my questions about how the inside "mechanism" works and what procedure to use to clean it, to make it new again. There has to be a way. I am sure, I am not the first one to come accross this malady if I got two in a row on one day. There are no large holes on the tank to see well what is inside. I can see a screen on a round two inch high thing that has a hose attached to it. Once I cleaned an older, air-cooled van's tank and I did not see anything of that kind. And as I remember it had bigger holes on and I could see pretty well the inside. Now, these are '90 and '87 model tanks. They maybe very different from the old one and from each other as well. I am just hoping that there is one between you who really knows this subject without guessing. The tank is getting blocked to the extent that there is not even a drop will come out of the outlet pipe. I need the knowledge of the List. Zoltan
