Frank, I use your website as a resource, and respect your contributions. As you said, I did not correctly read the instructions. However, you and others who write these instructions might consider making reference to the plastic sheath that covers important wires and appears in later model Vanagons. Also, please explain how to move relays that may be in the way. I eventually discovered how to lift up and pull at the same time but would have appreciated such instructions. Again, I think that most of the problems were of my own creation and I appreciated the several members of the List, including you, who put me back on track. As you say,Cheers!
