The "tower" that forms part of the crankcase breather system is wet with oil top to bottom. Not a lot but the whole thing has a film of oil over it. There is also oil on the bottom of the engine, As well, the approx 7" hose (1" diameter) - the breather heating pipe?- leading from the tower to the air intake is soft and collapsed to an oval shape. Should it be like this or should it be firm and round. Any ideas as to what's causing the oil leak? Excessive crankcase pressure? Is there an easily replaceable gasket? TIA |
