I am thinking about finding an 1986-90'VW golf/GTI and converting it to diesel. I was wondering how difficult it would be to do a coversion like this and what it would probably cost minus engine and chassis. the reason i dont just buy a stock diesel golf is becouse I cant find any two-door 86'-90' diesel golfs and i want a sporty looking, well handling golf, much like a GTI. I also want to give it a turbo if the donor engine doesnt already have one What do you think?
