First make sure they are real torque bolts and not just any bolt you scavanged(don't make the same stupid mistake I made) Second find a piece of clear tubing that will fit on the head of the bolt snuggly. Then using a mirror(I used a bicycle mirror but have recently purchased a telescpic flex mirror) line the bolt up and start threading with the tube. Once it has started pull off the tube and finish with a small socket set. my only real problem was trying to torque it right as I only have a large torque wrench but with a few adapters I was able to do that too. I only torqued them once all three were in place. Best of Luck Patrick 85 westy , Appin Ont. |
