You are techcnically correct. BUT for all practical purposes here,
liquids can not be compressed. For example: I can show you a motor
were fuel leaked into a back cylinder. The owner tryed to start the
engine bending the connecting rod like a pretsal. All because the LIQUID
gas would not compress, unlike its vapor will. The ratios of compression
is somwthing like 100 to 1, gas to liquid. NOT WORTH Mentioning here,
and for safety reasons, LIQUIDES ARE NOT COMPRESSABLE
