LArry,
Sorry to hear about your engine problems, but I think a word to
the wise needs to be spoken here. Having modified many vehicles
I have found that making things work, is only half the battle. Making
things last, is the other half. We individuals, do not have the cash,
or time to test the longevity of most mods. Therefore if you need
to depend on this vehicle, keeping things stock, is your best bet.
The OEM has tested your vehicle in every way over and over,
before you had any idea it would ever be built. Even the smallest
change comes with potential problems. An engine swap comes
with a mutitude of problems that many of us driving around with are
about to find out about. Your 2.2 pistons have cause a ton of problems
for you, and obviously depleted for cash flow. I found many vehicles
like this over the years, up for sale, covered in weeds. People
don't call it the "Bleeding edge of technology" for nothing.
Sorry I do not have a spare engine for you.
Eric
everything is a give an take.
