If anyone can point me to an online resource for this or a link to the archives for an appropriate article or for my own perusal, that would be great. Otherwise, I have found it difficult to find this particular piece of information in the sea of the interweb. As I stated in a previous message, I am in the slow and weather-directed replacement of my head gaskets ('83 1.9L) and am looking at things I can affordably clean or replace to improve performance. Replacing the FIs at this time would be a little to pricey for me. I will definitely replace the gaskets, as they are quite old and cracked. I was wondering if anyone had a good reccomendation on how to soak/clean the FIs? I have yet to test their spray pattern to see how they are doing (battery currently disconnected) , but would like to do what I can while I have them exposed. Any input would be greatly appreciated. aloha Mike Braden |
