Regarding your experiences...

I've a Syncro (as well) so getting stuck on a logging road would be my fault. I don't have an aux battery installed so that isn't a problem. I live south of the Mason Dixon line, so the extreme cold rarely hits here. I've got fuel injection so I don't have a carburetor. Guess I'll have to check my hatch struts...
