I would advise you to put a hose-pincher, or maybe just some vise-grips on the fuel lines before you take the clamps off, otherwise you'll have a big mess. You will still have some gas spill on the ground, and maybe on yourself, but it won't be pouring out like crazy. And loosen the clamp that holds the filter in place as well, because that little hose between the pump and the filter is a really tight fit. It's also a good idea to replace that little hose at this time too. -Mark
