My post is public, because I think that everybody should post here so we can follow each other solution and ideas.

I do hope that this community will be a real one now and will get together for real, I can easily imagine a donation by each list member, can you imagine a few dollar each, the price of a coffee and donut, am sure am not the only one that wish you can continue that great adventure of yours ... I hope to see some gentlemen's gestures here. Reading your post this morning did break my heart.... I had that feeling, since you where popping smoke in front of me in FL...

Did you contact Marcus in Ontario? He as one, am sure many other do!!! I will search all day and post on some local list.

Don't worry about changing the engine, I miss Oregon, I will fly there next week if you have an engine and have no other cheap solution....

Damn, it's a sad day... but we need sad days to appreciate the good one. The sun will rise again... Good thing your not stuck in the woods

Now the tech question: -Is the cylinder gone (broken) -Take compression, come back to us -can you localise the main noise, is it from the right side. -can you remove the right valve cover and check if the valve are slack????

If you have a jam lifter problem, the compression should be ok.

I can explain by p-mail all the procedure, I can also make you a web page with pictures so you can do this easy check yourself. I wonder about some dry lifter or low oil pressure, let me know Larry.

Love you bro http://www.benplace.com
