I am more then willing to chip in a few bucks toward a replacement engine, rebuilt or used, for Larry. I would love to see a reputable rebuilder offer up a special deal and list members contribute to the cause. To me, helping others in need is what this list is about.

Some of you may remember a Rallye that circumnavigated the planet a few years ago. The participants came through Anchorage as it is the closest landfall to Asia with a road link to the rest of North America. One of the vehicles, a mid 1930's Aston Martin Lagonda, blew an engine in British Columbia. An Anchorage resident that happens to own two 1934 Lagonda's pulled the engine from one and shipped it to the stranded racer, allowing him to finish the race. I can't afford to go that far, but surely together we can get the "Road" back in "Roadhaus"
