Subject:      Spare Tire Bolt - Crossthreaded ?? Size ??

I'm having trouble mounting my spare tire and it seems the threads in the
bumper may be stripped or crossthreaded.

Can anyone tell me what size bolt and threads is correct?

Anyone have this problem and how did you deal with it.

Tap it out?  Replace ??   How ??
