Ya, i know ANOTHER guy that has the same problem, and now he cant upgrade. I think the problem is exclusively with the Gowesty 15" steel wheels. Tiico.com has some SA made ones that might work. As far as stopping power, i 'think' the stock vanagon disc brakes are about as good as the bigger brake kit....as for brake fade, well the vented rotors will stay cooler for obvious reasons, good for the mountains i guess

As you can tell, Im prolly just trying to talk myself out of spending the big bucks on the big brake kit and 15" rims. boy if i could just win lotto
