I found one (maybe 2):
2.1L 1990 stock, 120k km(74k mile), heads done at 60k km (40k miles),
running engine, asking price; $1500CAD ($1100USD), the guy is a local list
member, i even think that it's from a Syncro, look like compression is
around 160 even.

I told the guy; don't "shi*" me... so am waiting for more news, it's not
cheap, but looks in  very good shape, i think i have to remove the engine
from the van, i already have a team ready for that (5 guys), from what i
know, the guys is not far.

Now, here is another solution, it may be cheaper to find a way to get your
sad butt and your van here in Montreal!!!!! Think about it for a second, if
we take the shipping fee, my airplane travel... the lack of tools over there.

Train is cheap!

Localy, am sure we can swap engine in 2 night, 2 of the guys are pro.

Maybe someone from the list as a cheap solution for shipping the van?????
We must have a list member in the shipping / transport business?

It's not much for now but that's a start.

Am also waithing for a cheaper solution, a 1987 2.1L (under 500CAD),
moderate condition with 130 to 140psi, again, if you can manage to come
here, i will opens the engine, check the heads, and putt a new set of
gasket. We can use all your newer part on it.

Sounds fun to me!!! 12 packs of beer per night just for me is a good
deal.... "What the hell is that piston for, heck, we don't need it...garbage.

I also have a new idea!!!! i new 2.3 conversion with newly design
pistons....what do you think?
