You've pointed out from the begining that the current engine troubles may only be one part of a larger and more complicated problem.

Bravo - that's absolutely correct.

My comments are not about this, but rather the people on the list criticizing others' for how they spend their $$. Again, it's their $$ to be 'stupid' with or to give to whomever they please. It's personal.
